Marco Pezzini

Born in 1956 has a daughter who lives in Florence. University experience in USA from 1974/75 in economy at St. Louis University, and in Italy Florence from 1975/79 also in economy faculty. He begin his career in the family company Rubinetterie Zazzeri (production of designed taps) from 1978 to 1989.
In 1989 the company was sold, and after that he had experience as member of the board or manager in different sectors (lightening, investment company, prefabricated building, shipbuilding) in Italy until 1995.
In the same period he became vice president of the Italian Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria, and in 1994 vice president of the European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs "YES for Europe".
In 1995 he started his European experience in Brussels as responsible for the Italian projects at the Technical Assistance Office to the European Commission for the management of the vocational training program "Leonardo da Vinci".
In 1998 he became General Secretary of the European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs "YES for Europe" and in 1999 he was employed at the European Commission as desk officers for the Italian projects of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme.
In 2001, UNACOMA the Italian Farm Machinery Manufacturers Association, member of CONFINDUSTRIA, appointed him as Responsible of the European Delegation in Brussels. In 2006 he was appointed Secretary General of UNACOMA. |
